To improve passenger comfort and safety , Eastern Railway introduced modern type of LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) rakes to 12329/12330 Sealdah-Delhi West Bengal Sampark Kranti Express & 12379/12380 Sealdah-Amritsar Jalianwalabagh Express replacing conventional type of rakes with effect from 28.02.201 7 & 03.03 .2017 from Sealdah respectively. Introduction of modern type of
LHB rake will also increase the carrying capacity of passengers in all classes.
