It has come to light a person was caught for unauthorized blocking of unreserved seats in unreserved coach of Train No.12679 Chennai Central – Coimbatore Intercity Express on 11.02.2017 and subsequently selling them for Rs.50/- per seat.He was nabbed by our Railway Inspector and immediately apprehended and booked under law.As per Indian Railways Act 1989 - Section 155 (1), blocking of unreserved accommodation in unreserved coaches is prohibited.In future any person attempting to block unreserved seats / berths will be severely dealt as per rule.
