Line and Power Block have been permitted from 23.05 hrs on 15th April 2017 to 07.00 hrs on 16th April 2017 for the work of new yard arrangement at Royapuram Railway Station including commissioning of new signalling panel at Royapuram as part of 3rd and 4th line between Chennai Beach and Korukkupet. Consequently, the following are the changes in the pattern of Train Services on 15th/16th April 2017.
I. CHANGES ON SATURDAY 15TH APRIL 2017
• Train No.66009 Moore Market Complex - Avadi MEMU leaving Moore Market Complex at 22.45 hrs is fully cancelled on Saturday 15th April 2017.
• Train No.43663 Velachery - Avadi EMU leaving Velachery at 22.30 hrs will be partially cancelled between Chennai Beach and Avadi and will be terminated at Chennai Beach at 23.15 hrs on 15th April 2017.
• Train No 42608 Gummidipoondi - Chennai Beach scheduled to leave Gummidipoondi at 21.40 hrs will be diverted to run from Korukkupet to Avadi instead of Chennai Beach.
• Train No.06010 Puducherry - Santragachi Special Train, leaving Chennai Egmore at 23.35 hrs on 15th April 2017 will be dealt on wrong line between Chennai Beach and Royapuram and will reach Gudur late by 45 minutes.

OTHER CHANGES ON 16TH APRIL 2017
• Train No.17652 Kacheguda - Chengalpattu Express and Train No.17644 Kakinada - Chengalpattu Circar Express will be delayed enroute to arrive Chengalpattu 30 minutes late on 16th April 2017.
• Train No.12164 Chennai Egmore - Dadar Express leaving Chennai Egmore at 06.50 hrs on 16th April 2017 will be diverted to run via Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram and Arakkonam and will be delayed enroute to reach Renigunta at 12.25 hrs or 180 minutes late on 16th April 2017.
• Train No.11017 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Karaikkal Weekly Express will be regulated enroute at Perambur for 45 minutes and will reach Villupuram 45 minutes late on 16th April 2017.
• Train No.12651 Madurai - Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti Bi-Weekly Express leaving Madurai on 16th April 2017 will be regulated/delayed enroute to reach Gudur late by 135 minutes
