As informed earlier too, Western Railway has decided to change the station code of Mumbai Central main (BCT) and Mumbai Central local (BCL) with new station code as MMCT w.e.f 1st February, 2018. Accordingly the new assigned code has been defined in all PRS Centers and IRCTC website with effect from JCO 1st February, 2018.
Similarly, a new station code as ‘SBIB’ has been assigned to Sabarmati (BG) station between Ahmedabad – Mahesana section w.e.f 1st February, 2018. on conversion of Ahmedabad – Mahesana section from Meter Gauge (MG) to Broad Gauge (BG), the Sabarmati (BG) station located between Ahmedabad – Mahesana section has been opened for passenger traffic.
