| SCR Bags Six All India Level Performance Efficiency Shields at 56th Annual Railway National Awards Programme |
The 56th Annual Railway National Awards Presentation Function was held at New Delhi on 21stNovember, 2011.Shri Dinesh Trivedi, Hon’ble Minster for Railways was the Chief Guest; Shri Bharatsinh Solanki and Shri K.H.Muniyappa were present as Guests of Honour. Various Performance Efficiency Shields as well as Individual Awards were presented on the occasion.
South Central Railway has won six Performance Efficiency Shields at All India Level for the year 2010-11.They are :
1.Civil Engineering Shield
(jointly with Northeast Frontier and South Eastern Railways)
2.Mechanical Engineering Shield
3.Traffic Transportation Shield
(jointly with South East Central Railway)
4.Running Room Shield - Dhone Running Room of Guntakal Division –
(jointly with Kota Running Room of Kota Division, West Central Railway)
5.Commercial Shield
6.Passenger Security Shield
The above Shields were presented by Shri Dinesh Trivedi, Hon’ble Minister for Railways and were received by Shri G.N.Asthana, General Manager, South Central Railway along with the Principal Heads of the Department concerned.
In addition to the above Shields, sixteen employees of South Central Railway received Railway Minister’s Individual Awards in recognition of the meritorious work done by them during the year.
