A special product, Railway Salary Package (RSP) designed by the State Bank of India exclusively for employees of the Indian Railways, was launched by the bank’s Chief General Manager, Bhubaneswar, Praveen Gupta and East Coast Railway General Manager Indra Ghosh at a function here presided over by SBI DGM (Business & Operations) BV Saradhi.
Under the scheme, salary savings accounts can be opened by the railway employees, and based on their working grade, several concession freebies like zero charges for cash transactions and passbook updating at non-home branches, free transfer of funds within an SB1 branch and concessions in processing fee and interest and margin for various loans, will be available.
