Responding to the demands of Goan train commuters, South Western Railway has permanently augmented some trains with an additional second class sleeper coach from January 2.
These trains are Hubli-Bangalore-Hubli Hampi Express (16591/16592), Bangalore City-Mysore-Yesvantpur Express (16558/16559), Yesvantpur-Solapur-Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Express (16535/16536), Yesvantpur-Bijapur-Yesvantpur four-days a week Special Express (06535/06536), and Mysore-Yesvantpur-Mysore Express (16560/16557).
Accordingly, Hubli-Bangalore Hampi Express (16591) will be given an additional second class sleeper coach permanently from Hubli with effect from January.
In the return direction, Bangalore-Hampi Express (16592) will be attached with an additional coach from Bangalore end with effect from January 5.
Bangalore City-Mysore Rajya Rani Express (16558) from Bangalore city end and in the return direction, Mysore-Yesvantpur Express (16559) from Mysore will get an additional coach each with effect from January 3. Yesvantpur-Solapur Tri-Weekly Express (16535) will get an additional coach from Yesvantpur with effect from January 3.
In the return direction, Solapur-Yesvantpur Tri-Weekly Express (16536) will get an additional coach from Solapur with effect from January 4.
Yesvantpur-Bijapur four-day a week Express Special (06535) will get an additional coach from Yesvantpur with effect from January 3 and in the return direction, Bijapur-Yesvantpur four-day a week Express Special (06536) will get an additional coach from Bijapur with effect from January 4.
Mysore-Yesvantpur Express (16559) will get an additional coach from Mysore. In the return direction, Yesvantpur-Mysore Express (16557) will get an additional coach from Mysore with effect from January 5.
