TRAINS LIKELY TO BE DELAYED DUE TO CYCLONIC STORM
As per the bulletin issued by Indian Meteorological Department, Chennai, the very severe cyclonic storm ‘Thane’ is likely to cross the coast of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh around early morning of 30.12.2011. Due to this, trains running on Chennai Central – Gudur and Chennai Egmore – Villupuram – Cuddalore – Mayiladuthurai routes in both directions, are likely to be regulated enroute/diverted.
