Delhi Metro services will be partially curtailed on January 26 (Republic Day) and January 29 (Beating Retreat Ceremony) as part of the security arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations as per the instructions of Delhi Police.Metro schedules of Line - 2 (HUDA City Centre - Jahangirpuri), Line - 3 (Noida City Centre - Dwarka Sector 21), Line -4 (Yamuna Bank to Vaishali) and Line 6 (Central Secretariat - Badarpur) have been partially modified. Line 2 (HUDA City Centre - Jahangirpuri)
i) Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan, and Race Course Metro stations will remain closed from 06.00 AM up to 12.30 PM.
ii) Rajiv Chowk station will only be used for interchange of passengers between Line 2 and Line 3.
iii) Central Secretariat station will only be used for interchange of passengers between Line 2 and Line 6.
iv) The Metro trains will not stop at Patel Chowk, Udyog Bhawan and Race Course during this period.

Line 3 (Dwarka Sector 21 - Noida City Centre) and Line 4 (Vaishali to Yamuna Bank)
i) Rajiv Chowk, Barakhamba Road, Mandi House and Pragati Maidan Metro stations will be closed from 06.00 AM up to 12.30 PM.
ii) Trains will be run in three short loops on these corridors:
a. NOIDA City Centre to Indraprastha
b. Vaishali to Yamuna Bank
c. Dwarka Sector 21 to Rajiv Chowk. (Rajiv Chowk will only be used as an interchange with Line 2. Revenue services will be available up to RK Ashram Marg only).anuary 26, 2012
Line 6 (Central Secretariat - Badarpur)
i) Khan Market and Central Secretariat stations will remain closed from 06.00 AM up to 12.30 PM.
ii) Revenue services will be available from Badarpur to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
iii) Central Secretariat will be used only as an interchange with Line 2.

Metro services on Line 2 (HUDA City Centre - Jahangirpuri) and Line 6 (Central Secretariat - Badarpur) will be curtailed from 03.00 PM to 06.30 PM. On Line 2, the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan stations will remain closed during this period. However, interchange of passengers from Line 2 to Line 6 and vice versa will be allowed.
On Line 6, revenue services will be available only from Badarpur to Khan Market. As mentioned earlier, interchange facility will be available at Central Secretariat.
In addition, all Metro parking lots will remain closed from 02.00 PM on the 25th of January to 2.00 PM on the 26th of January, 2012. This step has also been taken as part of the security arrangements.
