A Blood Donation Camp was held at RPF Training Center, Moula Ali, Secunderabad. The programme was organised by RPF Training Center, Moula Ali & Railway Central Hospital, Lallaguda in co-ordination with Medical Department, Hyderabad Division of SCRtoday 2nd March 2012.
Sri.B. Mohan, Chief Security Commissioner was the Chief Guest. Dr.S.K.Sharma, Chief Medical Director ,South Central Railway, and Sri. Margoob Hussain, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division were the Guests of Honour,Sri. B.B.Mishra, DIG /Principal RPF Training Cenre &Dr.J.Swain, Chief Medical Superintendent, Hyderabad Division organised the event.
During the Camp, a total number of 18 RPF trainees donated blood. Pamphlets /Posters were displayed at Auditorium to create awareness about donating blood and its importance. Fruits and Juice were given to the donors. All the 18 units of blood collected were taken to Central Hospital, Lallaguda, where they will be utilised for railway beneficiaries.
A quiz competition was conducted by Dr.A.V.S.K.Prasad, Sr .Divisional Medical Officer (SG) Kacheguda. Dr. Mary Suvarna Jyothi , Pathologist and Lab staff from Central Hospital, Lallaguda, Doctors of Hyderabad Division, Lab staff andParamedical Staff of Hyderabad Division rendered their services. Dr.V.Sarada Devi, Additional Chief Medical Superintendent/Moula Ali actively contributed for the Blood Donation Camp, which was a grand success. Certificates were distributed to the donors.
