To carry out maintenance work, a jumbo block will be taken for five hours from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 25th March, 2012 on Up Local Lines (i.e. slow line) between Santacruz and Mumbai Central stations.
During the period, all Up local line trains will run on Up through line (i.e. fast corridor) between Santacruz and Mumbai Central stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Matunga Road, Elphinstone Road, Lower Parel and Mahalaxmi for want of platform, hence passengers can travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra and Mumbai Central stations. All 12-car slow services will take double halt at Khar Road and Mahim Jn.
Level Crossing Gate No.19 will remain closed for road traffic during block period. Due to the block, some Up and Down local trains will remain cancelled.
