In view to clear wait listed passengers in regular trains towards Bangalore and to provide better passenger comforts to the commuters, especially to the students who are going to appear examination, Ministry Railways has decided to run an Examination special train between Howrah & Yesvantpur through East Coast Railway jurisdiction.
08049/08050 Howrah-Yesvantpur-Howrah Examination special train will leave Howrah at 18.15hrs on 3rd May 2012 (Thursday) and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 11.00hrs on 5th May 2012 (Saturday). In the return direction, this train will leave Yesvantpur at 23.55hrs on 6th May 2012 (Sunday) and will arrive at Howrah at 18.15hrs on 8th May 2012 (Tuesday).
This train will stop at Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Vizianagaram and Duvvada in East Coast Railway jurisdiction between Howrah & Yesvantpur having Two AC-3 tier, TenSleeper Class, One General Second Class and Two Guard cumLuggage Vans in its composition.
