Shri Pradeep Kumar Mishra, has assumed charge as Divisional Railway Manager,Southern Railway, Chennai today (18th July, 2012).He is an officer of the 1980 batch of the Indian Railway Engineering Service (IRSE).He is a Civil Engineer by profession and did M.Tech. from IIT Madras.Prior to his assuming charge as DRM, he was Chief Engineer, Construction and had also held the posts of Chief Planning and Design Engineer and Chief Track Engineer of Southern Railway.
Shri P.K. Mishra has undergone training in Sweden and other European countries for concrete sleeper layouts.He was also deputed for construction of bridges across Brahmaputra, Ganges and Cauvery.
