Shri Sanjoy Ghosh has taken over as South Eastern Railway’s new Chief Public Relations Officer(CPRO) w.e.f. 8th October, 2014.Shri Ghosh has taken over the charge in place of Shri Soumitra Majumdar, Chief Passenger Transportation Manager(CPTM) who was also looking after the additional charge of CPRO/SER for about one year.
Prior to this, Shri Sanjoy Ghosh was Senior Traffic Manager, Planning, S.E.Railway, Garden Reach.Born in 1965, Shri Ghosh joined in Indian Railways in 1986 as Traffic Apprentice.
Shri Ghosh is a post Graduate in Law and he had worked in various capacities in train operations in different places like Bilaspur & Korba under South East Central Railway and Kharagpur, Chakradharpur, Santragachi & Garden Reach under South Eastern Railway.
Shri Sanjoy Ghosh has keen interest in Sports and other socio-cultural activities.
