Keeping in view the demands of people and Budget Commitments of Railways, a new tri-weekly express train is going to be introduced between Jagadalpur and Durg w.e.f. 10th October 2012.
Dr. Raman Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh will flag off the train 18212 Jagadalpur-Durg Express at Jagadalpur station on 10th October 2012 at 14.00hrs in presence of Dr. Charan Das Mahant, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Shri Dinesh Kashyap, Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Bastar and Shri Santosh Bafna, Hon’ble MLAfrom Jagadalpur.
Introduction of this new train 18212/18211 Jagadalpur-Durg-Jagadalpur tri-weekly Express expected to fulfil the long standing demand of the local populace.
18212/18211 Jagadalpur-Durg-Jagadalpur new tri-weekly express will leave from Jagadalpur at 12.30hrs on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will arrive at Durg at 05.15hrs on the following days. In the return direction, this train will leave Durg at 15.05hrs on every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and will arrive at Jagadalpur at 06.45hrs on the next days.
This train will have one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, Four Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in it’s composition having stoppages at Jeypore, Koraput, Rayagada, Muniguda, Ambodala, Rupra Road, Kesinga, Titlagarh, Kantabanji, Nawapara Road, Khariar Road, Mahasamund and Raipur between Jagadalpur and Durg.
