Mega Block on 24.3.2013


Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 24.3.2013: -

ON DN SLOW LINE BETWEEN THANE AND KALYAN STATIONS

FROM 11.00 AM TO 4.00 PM

Dn Slow/Semi fast services leaving Mulund from 10.39 am to 3.48 pm will be diverted o­n Dn fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations halting at Thane and Dombivli.

Dn slow line services will not be available at Kalva, Mumbra, Diva, Kopar and Thakurli stations during the block period. However passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Dombivli/Kalyan in up direction.

     

In addition to their respective scheduled halts Dn fast line services will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Up fast line services will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations during the block period.



ON DN HARBOUR LINE BETWEEN CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS AND KURLA &

ON UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN VADALA ROAD AND BANDRA STATIONS

FROM 11.10 AM TO 3.10 PM.

Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.48 am to 3.33 pm and Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Bandra /Andheri from 10.40 am to 4.13 pm will remain suspended.



All Dn Harbour line services for Panvel / Belapur / Vashi leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.52 am to 3.13 pm will run via Main line between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Kurla. These trains will not halt at Currey Road and Chinchpokli stations.

       

Harbour line passengers for Bandra/ Andheri are permitted to travel Via Main line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm o­n 24.3.2013.



DUE TO THESE BLOCKS, SUBURBAN LOCALS WILL BE RUNNING ABOUT 10 TO 15 MINUTES BEHIND SCHEDULE. AS A RESULT OF THIS, SUBURBAN TRAINS ARE LIKELY TO BE MORE CROWDED THAN USUAL. PASSENGERS ARE REQUESTED NOT TO TAKE ANY RISKS WHILE TRAVELLING. THEY ARE ALSO REQUESTED TO AVOID TRAVELLING o­n FOOT BOARD, ROOF TOP OF LOCALS AND NOT TO BOARD EXTREMELY OVER CROWDED TRAINS.
