South Western Railway has decided to augment with one additional Second Class Air-conditioned Chair Car temporarily for Train Nos.12028/12027 BANGALORE-CHENNAI-BANGALORE SHATABDI EXPRESS, with effectfrom 08th April, 2013to 30th June,2013, from both ends, for clearance of extra rush during Summer.
After augmentation with an additional Second Class AC Chair Car, the total coaches for Shatabdi Express are 14 (instead of 13), comprising of Two First Class AC Chair Cars, Ten Second Class AC Chair Cars and two Motor Cars.
South Eastern Railway(SER) has advised this railway that they have decided to continueaugmentation with one additional AC 3-tier coach and one additional AC 2-tier coach temporarily for Train Nos. 12245/12246 HOWRAH-YESVANTPUR-HOWRAH DURONTO EXPRESSfor clearance of extra rush, as per the following details:--
Accordingly, Train No. 12245HOWRAH-YESVANTPUR (5-days a Week) DURONTO EXPRESS (from Howrah end on Saturday, Wednesday, Sunday, Friday & Tuesdays) will beattachedwith One additional AC 3-tier Coach temporarily, with effect from02nd April, 2013 to01st May, 2013.
In the return direction, Train No. 12246YESVANTPUR-HOWRAH (5-days a Week) DURONTO EXPRESS (from Yesvantpur end on Monday, Friday, Tuesday, Sunday & Thursdays) will beattachedwith One additionalAC 3-tier Coach temporarily, with effect from04th April, 2013to03rd May, 2013.
