PILGRIMAGE TOUR PACKAGE WITH SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY
Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), as a part of its Tourism initiatives, is going to operate a Pilgrimage Tour Packagetied up with South Western Railway, by taking Passengers on rail tour package from Hubli to Tirupati and back daily, launching from 14th June, 2013 onwards from Hubli Railway Station by Train No.17416 Kolhapur-Tirupati Haripriya Express.
The Pilgrimage package tour includes confirmed to and fro train Journey in Sleeper Class by Train Nos.17416/17415 Kolhapur-Tirupati-Kolhapur Haripriya Express, from Hubli to Tirupati and back to Hubli.Initially, 06 Berths in Second Class Sleeper Coach No.S4 and Berth Nos. 25 to 30 (Total :06 berths only), are earmarked for Pilgrimage Tour travellers by Train No.17416 Kolhapur-TirupatiHaripriya Express, leaving from Hubli at 19-20 hrs.,on Friday, the 14th June, 2013 onwards and arriving at Tirupatiat 08-10 hrs., the next day(Tuesday).The Pilgrimage Tour package includes on Tuesday and Wednesdays, sight seeing including Seeghra Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateshwara at Tirumala by Road.TheItinerary atTirupati isin a non-AC Vehicle, accommodation in Non-AC Room, Vegetarian food at Tirupati.En route, by road, the tour includes visit to Tirupati, Tiruchanuru, Srinivasa Mangapuram, Kanipakam and Sri Kalahasti Temples.
In the return direction, the Pilgrimage Tour Package passengers will board the Train No.17415 Tirupati-Kolhapur Haripriya Express at Tirupati Railway Station on Wednesday at 21-00 hrs. and arrive at HubliRailway Station at 08-25 hrs., on Thursday.The accommodation for return journey for Pilgrimage Tour Package Passengers is earmarked in S5 coach and Berth Nos. are from 57 to 62 (Total : 06 berths only).
The tariff of the Pilgrim package tour is Rs. 4,550/- per person for 4 Days/3 Nights.Booking has to be done at least 4 days in advance.The package is designed in order to cater to the needs of Pilgrims from North Karnataka.
