REGULATION OF S E RAILWAY TRAIN SERVICES DUE TO NON INTERLOCKING WORK FOR COMMISSIONING OF 3RD LINE FROM PANSKURA TO SHYAMCHAK
Kolkata, 25th May, 2013:
In view of commissioning of 3rd Line from Panskura to Shyamchak, Pre-Non Interlocking/Non Interlocking Work will be undertaken in different spells at Panskura, Haur, Balichak and Shyamchak stations in Howrah-Kharagpur Section from 28/5/2013 to 11/6/2013. As a result, train services of S.E.Railway will be regulated and a number of Mail/Express, Passenger Trains as well as Local Trains will be Cancelled, Short Terminated and Diverted.
However, to mitigate the hardship of the passengers during Non-Interlocking Work for the commissioning of 3rd Line between Panskura and Shyamchak,South Eastern Railway will run 23 Up and 22 Dn. EMU locals including passenger trains towards different directions on Howrah-Kharagpur-Midnapur Section on and from 30/5/2013 to 02/6/2013.
Cancellation of Mail/Express Trains:
11 pairs of Mail/Express trains viz. 12885/12886 Shalimar-Bhojudih Aranyak Express, 12883/12884 Howrah-Purulia Rupasi Bangla Express, 22861/22862 Shalimar-Bankura Rajya Rani Express, 18007/18008 Shalimar-Baripada Simlipal Intercity Express, 22873/22874 Digha-Visakhapatnam Express, 22877/22878 Digha-Puri Express, 12277/12278 Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express, 22853/22854 Shalimar-Visakhapatnam Express, 22889/22890 Digha-Puri Express, 22201/22202 Sealdah-Puri Duronto Express and 12073/12074 Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express will remain cancelled on different nominated days during the period from 28/5/2013 to 11/6/2013.
Short Termination/Origination of Mail/Express & Passenger Trains:
Ø12866 Purulia-Howrah Lalmati Express will be short terminated at Kharagpur and 12865 Howrah-Purulia Lalmati Express will originate from Kharagpur instead of Howrah on different nominated days during 31/5/2013 to 11/6/2013. As a result, the service of Lalmati Express will remain cancelled between Kharagpur-Howrah-Kharagpur during the above period.
Ø13502 Asansol-Haldia Express will be short terminated at Kharagpur and 13501 Haldia-Asansol Express will originate from Kharagpur instead of Haldia from 30/5/2013 to 11/6/2013. As a result, the service of Haldia-Asansol-Haldia Express will remain cancelled between Haldia-Kharagpur-Haldia during the above period.
Ø13506 Asansol-Digha Express will be short terminated at Kharagpur and 13505 Digha-Asansol Express will originate from Kharagpur instead of Digha from 02/6/2013 to 09/6/2013. As a result, the service of Asansol-Digha-Asansol Express will remain cancelled between Kharagpur-Digha-Kharagpurduring the above period.
Besides, a number of Passenger Trains viz. 58004/58003 Bhadrak-Howrah-BhadrakPassenger, 58012/58014 Chakradharpur/Bokaro-Adra-Howrah
Passenger, 58011/58013 Howrah-Adra-Chakradharpur/Bokaro Passenger, 58002 Puri-Santragachi Passenger and 58001 Howrah-Puri Passenger will be short terminated/short originated at different nominated stations enroute.
Diversion of Mail/Express Trains:
Ø9 long distance Up Mail/Express trains and 7 long distance Down Mail/Express trains will run on diverted route on different nominated days during the above work.
Cancellation of EMU Locals:
Ø39 Up & Down Howrah-Panskura EMU Locals, 9 Up & Down Howrah-Kharagpur EMU Locals and 14 Up & Down Howrah-Midnapur EMU Locals will remain cancelled on and from 30/5/2013 to 02/6/2013 during NI Work at Panskura.
Ø9 Up & Down Howrah-Kharagpur EMU Locals and 14 Up & Down Howrah-Midnapur EMU Locals will remain cancelled on and from 03/6/2013 to 11/6/2013 during NI Work at Haur-Balichak-Shyamchak.
Ø4 pairs of MEMU Locals will remain cancelled between 30/5/2013 to 11/6/2013
Besides, a number of EMU/MEMU Trains will be Short Terminated/Originated on and from 30/5/2013 to 11/6/2013.
Moreover, 6 No. of EMU Locals will be diverted via Panskura East Outer on and from 30/5/2013 to 02/6/2013.
Cancellation of EMU/MEMU Trains due to 4 Hours 30 Minutes
Engineering Block at Panskura:
Ø1 pair Howrah-Midnapur EMU Locals and 1 pair of Howrah-Kharagpur MEMU Locals will remain cancelled on 28/5/2013.
