MEGA BLOCK o­n 12.10.2014
Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 12.10.2014:
MAIN LINE:THANE-KALYAN DN SLOW LINE FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.30 PM. Dn Slow and semi-fast line services leaving Mulund from 10.39 am to 3.22 pm will be diverted o­n Dn fast line between Mulund and Kalyan halting Thane and Dombivali stations. Dn slow line services will not be available at Kalva, Mumbra, Diva, Kopar and Thakurli stations. Passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Kalyan & Dombivali stations.
All Dn fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.08 am to 2.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts.
All Up fast line services leaving Thane from 10.50 am to 3.36 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts.
All slow locals arriving and leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
HARBNOUR LINE:KURLA-MANKHURD UP & DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM
DN Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.23 am to 3.01 pm and UP Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.20 am to 3.04 pm will remain suspended.
UP and DN Harbour Line services will remain suspended between Mankhurd and Kurla stations during the block period.
However special local trains will run o­n Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus-Kurla and Mankhurd-Panvel sections during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are also permitted to travel via Trans-Harbour/Main line from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n footboard, rooftop of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
