Shri P.K. Srivastava, General Manager, SCR Inspects the Passenger Facilities and Developmental Activies at Kazipet Railway Station

Shri P.K. Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway, undertook an inspection of Kazipet Railway Station and Railway Poly Clinic at Kazipet in Secunderabad Division today i.e., 16th January, 2015. Shri S.N.Singh, Principal Chief Engineer, Shri J.S.P.Singh, Chief Electrical Engineer, Shri Kabeer Ahmad, Chief Mechanical Engineer, SCR and Shri S.K.Mishra, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division accompanied the General Manager during the inspection.
The General Manager extensively inspected the passenger amenities at Kazipet Railway station. He critically examined the facilities and the services being provided to passengers, circulating area, booking offices, waiting rooms, drinking water facilities and Foot-over-Bridges etc.,
Shri P.K. Srivastava met Shri D. Vinay Bhaskar, Hon’ble MLA and discussed the plans for improvement of Railway facilities at Kazipet station. He also interacted with the rail users to understand their grievances and requirements. Responding to the grievances from the local people who called o­n him, the General Manager assured prompt action to enhance facilities at the platforms and circulating area. He also promised to examine the demands of the local people at Kazipet for another Foot Over Bridge and provision of Escalator.
At Poly Clinic (Railway Hospital), he made a thorough inspection of facilities and Medical services being made available to the employees and discussed o­n the plans to further improve infrastructure and posting of additional specialist Doctors etc., He also interacted with Patients, Employees, Pensioners and representatives of trade unions  etc.,
Speaking to the media o­n the occasion, Shri P.K.Srivastava informed that South Central Railway is planning to introduce Train No.11084/11083 Kazipet - Mumbai Lokamanya Tilak Terminus - Kazipet weekly Express and other passing through services from Kazipet Railway station as announced in Railway Budget - 2014. He also stated that railways would strive to enhance facilities to meet the demands keeping in view of the importance of Kazipet Railway Junction.
