With a view to cater to the demands from various quarters, and to improve occupancy, Southern Railway has decided to extend T.Nos. 06028/06027 Erode-Chennai Egmore-Erode Day Time Special Express Train up to 30th December, 2016. The train will be operated 5 days a week, except Thursdays & Saturdays. The coaches, timings and stoppages will be the same, as advised earlier.
Composition:General Second Class – 10 (of these 10 coaches, 6 coaches will be marked as reserved) & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2coaches.
Stoppages:Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Melmaruvathur, Tindivanam, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Chinna Salem, Attur, Valappadi Gate, Salem Town, Salem, Sankari Durg.
It is therefore requested that the travelling public may make use of the train in a big way, so as to enable Railways consider further extension or even converting the same into a regular train.
