Train services from and through East Coast Railway have been affected for two reasons - First, in view of dense fog in northern parts of the country and second, the cyclone impact in Tamilnadu. As a result, a few trains towards New
Delhi and Chennai from/to East Coast Railway have been cancelled and rescheduled.
CANCELLATION OF TRAINS:
12281/12282 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Duronto Express scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar on 14.12.2016 and from New Delhi on 15.12.2016 will remain cancelled from both the directions for adjustment in timings to run the connecting trains in time in view of dense fog .
22860 Chennai-Puri Express scheduled to leave Chennai on 12.12.2016 has been cancelled from Chennai due to cyclonic impact in Chennai area.
RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS:
01. 12815 Puri-New Delhi Nandankanan Express scheduled to leave Puri at 1055hrs on 12.12.2016 (Monday) will leave at 1030hrs (10.30A.M) on 13.12.2016 (Tuesday). 02. 12801 Puri-New Delhi Purusottam Express scheduled to leave Puri at 2145hrs (09.45P.M) on 12.12.2016 will leave at 1000hrs (10.00A.M) on 13.12.2016 (Tuesday).
03. 22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar at 0930hrs (09. 30a.m) on 13.12.2016 will leave at 2045hrs (08.45P.M) on 13.12.2016 (Tuesday).
04. 12875 Puri-New Delhi Neelachal Express scheduled to leave Puri at 1055hrs (10.55A.M) on 13.12.2016 (Tuesday) will leave at 0830hrs (08.30A.M) on 14.12.2016 (Wednesday).
Dense fog in northern India especially in Delhi Region is affecting punctuality of train services towards/from East Coast Railway. Many important trains like Rajdhani, Duronto, Sampark Kranti , Purusottam, Utkal, Neelachal, Nandankanan Express have been badly affected.
