Train No. 57550 Aurangabad – Hyderabad Passenger is derailed between Kalagapur – Bhalki stations, on Parli-Vikarabad section of Secunderabad division at around 01.50 hrs today i.e., 21st April, 2017. All the passengers travelling in the train are safe. The Engine along with 3 coaches have been derailed in the incident.
Restoration measures have been immediately taken up on war footing. Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway is personally monitoring the situation and rushed to the spot along with concerned officials.
Arrangements are made to evacuate the passengers from the site of derailment. After detaching the derailed coaches, remaining portion of the train consisting of 8 coaches is moved to Kalagapur Railway station. Special buses have been arranged to transport the passengers from Kalagapur to Bidar Railway station. Bidar- Hyderabad intercity express is rescheduled to accommodate the passengers of derailed train.
