A major block will be undertaken for launching of steel girders of 12 mt wide for Foot Over Bridge at Elphinstone Road station. This block will be during intervening night of 4th & 5th March, 2018 from 21.30 hrs to 6.00 hrs. During the block period, some local trains will be diverted/short-terminated and cancelled. The diverted down local line (slow) trains will run on down through lines (fast) ex Churchgate/Mumbai Central to Mahim. These diverted trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Elphinstone Road and Matunga stations for want of platform. It will have a double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim stations as the length of platform at these stations is less. These trains will be delayed by 10 to 15 minutes. Few trains will be partially cancelled between Bandra and Churchgate.
