‘Link Express to start soon’

Uttarakhand Garhwal MP Satpal Maharaj has said the much-awaited Haridwar-Ramnagar Link Express will start its operations shortly. In a statement issued today, Satpal Maharaj disclosed that he had talks on the phone with SK Budhalakoti, General Manager, Northern Railways, and the latter had apprised him that Haridwar-Ramnagar Link Express would start its services shortly.Maharaj said Budhalakoti had even assured him to take up the matter with the Railway Board Chairman Vinay Mittal. He pointed out that former Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee had in the Railway Budget 2011-12 announced the start of Haridwar-Ramnagar Link Express.
