In order to curb malpractices in booking reserved tickets and to check touting activities, now it has been decided that from 15th December, 2012, while booking tickets from reservation offices of Mumbai Division of WR, the person seeking ticket for self will have to carry an original ID along with valid self attested photocopy of his validID.
It has also been decided that theperson seeking ticket
for other than self should carry his/her own original ID along with
original ID of the person for whom ticket is to be booked and self
attested photocopy of the valid ID of the person for whom the
ticket is to be booked
