With a view to clear extra rush of passengers, S E Railway has decided to run two pairs of Santragachi-Puri Superfast Special Trains leaving Santragachion 14.08.14 and 17.08.14. It has also been decided to continue running of Special Trains between Santragachi-Chennai, Santragachi-Ernakulam and Santragachi-Anand Vihar till August, 2014 in order to clear extra rush of passengers.
SANTRAGACHI-PURI SUPERFAST SPECIALS on 14TH & 17TH AUGUST
02837 Santragachi-Puri Superfast Special leaving Santragachi at 20:40 hours on 14/8/2014 will reach Puri at 04:00 hours, the next day. In the return direction 02838 Puri-Santragachi Superfast Special leaving Puri at 05:30 hours on 15/8/2014 will arrive Santragachi at 14:25 hours, the same day.
08409 Santragachi-Puri Superfast Special leaving Santragachi at 15:20 hours on 17/8/2014 will reach Puri at 23:55 hours, the same day. In the return direction, 08410 Puri-Santragachi Superfast Specialwill leave Puri at 00:30 hours on 18/8/2014 arriving Santragachi at 09:00 hours, the same day.
SANTRAGACHI-CHENNAI WEEKLY SUPERFAST SPECIAL
Santragachi-Chennai Weekly Superfast Special (02807) leaving Santragachi every Thursday at 19:00 hours will arrive Chennai Central at 22:45 hours, the next day. In the return direction Chennai-Santragachi Weekly Superfast Special (02808) will leave Chennai Central every Saturday at 07:55 hours arriving Santragachi at 10:25 hours, the next day. This pair of Special Trains which is running at present will continue to run during the period from 07/8/2014 to 30/8/2014.

Santragachi-Ernakulam Weekly Special (02851) leaving Santragachi every Saturday at 16:05 hours will reach Ernakulam at 06:00 hours every Monday. In the return direction Ernakulam-Santragachi Weekly Special (02852) leaving Ernakulam every Tuesday at 08:50 hours will arrive Santragachi at 03:00 hours every Thursday. This pair of Special Trains which is running at present will continue to run during the period from 02/8/2014 to 02/9/2014.

Santragachi-Anand Vihar Weekly Superfast Special (08033) leaving Santragachi every Monday at 09:25 hours will reach Anand Vihar at 11:50 hours, the next day. In the return direction, the Special Train (08034) leaving Anand Vihar at 13:30 hours every Tuesday will arrive Santragachi at 17:00 hours, the next day.
