ON 16th & 17thAPRIL, 2016 (SATURDAY/SUNDAY)
In connection with the extension of Harbour line platform from 9 car to 12 car at Mahim Jn. station, a Jumbo Block of EIGHT hours will be operated from 10.00 hours to 18.00 hours on UP & DOWN Harbour lines at Mahim Jn. on Sunday, 17thApril, 2016. The last DOWN Harbour line train will be at 09.25 hrs from Mumbai CST and reach Andheri at 10.09 hrs and last UP Harbour line train will be at 09.37 hrs from Andheri. Due to the block, some UP & DOWN local trains will also remain cancelled.
Similarly, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling & overhead equipments, a Jumbo Block of THREE & HALF hours will be operated between Mahim and Mumbai Central stations from 00.30 hrs to 04.00 hrs on 16/ 17th April, 2016 (Saturday/ Sunday) on UP Slow line & DOWN Fast line.
During the block, all UP slow line trains will run on UP Fast line between Mahim Junction and Marine Lines. These diverted trains will not halt at Matunga Rd, Elphinstone Rd, Lower Parel and Mahalaxmi for want of platform, hence passengers are allowed to travel in opposite direction for their destinations between BANDRA and MUMBAI CENTRAL stations. Also, all 12 car slow services will take a double halt at Platform No. 4 of Mahim Junction.
