Consequent to the yard remodelling work at Madurai junction between September 29 and October 13, the Railways has announced changes in the service of a few trains passing through Tiruchi junction.
Trains partially cancelled
Train Number 12635 Chennai Egmore- Madurai ‘Vaigai’ express will be partially cancelled between Kudal Nagar and Madurai from 30.09.12 to 12.10.12. The train will arrive at Kudal Nagar at 9.15 p.m. The train number 12636 Madurai-Chennai Egmore ‘Vaigai’ express will be partially cancelled between Madurai and Kudal Nagar from October 1 – 13. The train will leave Kudal Nagar at 6.55 a.m.Train number 12637 Chennai Egmore- Madurai ‘Pandian’ express leaving Chennai Egmore from September 29 to October 12 will be partially cancelled between Kudal Nagar and Madurai. This train will arrive Kudal Nagar at 7.05 a.m.Train number 12638 Madurai-Chennai Egmore ‘Pandian’ express will be partially cancelled between Madurai and Kudal Nagar from October 30 -12. This train will leave Kudal Nagar at 8.45 p.m.
Trains rescheduled
T.No. 22628 Tirunelveli- Tiruchchirappalli Intercity express scheduled to leave Tirunelveli at 02.15 PM will be rescheduled to leave Tirunelveli at 03.15 p.m. on 30.09.12 and 12.10.12. (2 days only)
Trains regulated
Train number 16788 Jammutawi – Tirunelveli bi-weekly express will be regulated for 60 minutes at Dindigul station October 4; train number 16127 Chennai Egmore- Guruvayur express will be regulated for 85 minutes at Dindigul station on October 12; train numbers 56821/56825 Erode / Mayiladuthurai- Tirunelveli passengers will be regulated for 40 minutes at Dindigul station on the same day.
